Life’s Journey at a Glance

A progressive and proven way to regain control of your life.

Life’s Journey is committed to helping individuals build a strong foundation for long-term sobriety through our structured Three-Phase Program.

Three-Phase Recovery Program

  • Phase 1 – IOP/PHP Housing

Phase One housing is for residents who have recently completed an inpatient or detox program and are ready to transition into sober living. Residents are expected to attend 12-step meetings, obtain a sponsor, and maintain full-time employment within the community. Many residents participate in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization (PHP) treatment programs while living in a structured sober environment.

  • Phase 2 – Recovery House

Residents continue building recovery stability while increasing personal responsibility and independence.

  • Phase 3 – Sober Housing

Residents transition toward independent living while maintaining accountability and continued involvement in recovery.

Residents Are Required to:

  • Attend outside 12-Step meetings within their chosen fellowship.

  • Obtain and work with a sponsor.

  • Attend in-house meetings and peer support groups.

  • Complete daily household responsibilities.

  • Maintain full-time employment.

This safe and structured environment allows residents to focus on recovery while rebuilding their lives.

To Progress Through Each Phase, Residents Must Demonstrate:

  • Commitment to sobriety.

  • Consistent meeting attendance.

  • Responsible behavior.

  • Stable employment.

Success in the Program Requires Only Three Things:

  • A desire to change.

  • A positive attitude.

  • A willingness to take direction.

Location

Life’s Journey is a sober living community that is centrally located in the Levittown section of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and the Pennsauken area of Camden County, NJ. Our community services residents from Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Philadelphia, and Lancaster Counties, in addition to all areas of New Jersey. The majority of our community members come to us from drug and alcohol treatment centers and rehabs. We are very fortunate to live in one of the largest recovery communities in the country. It’s a great area to live, work, and enjoy fantastic fellowship. There is easy access to 12-step meetings, malls, recreation centers, and parks. In Bucks County, there are plenty of daily meetings to choose from in A.A. (Alcoholics Anonymous), N.A. (Narcotics Anonymous), C.A. (Cocaine Anonymous), etc. All of which are in proximity to the houses. Public transportation is also available via SEPTA or the Regional Rail Line.

We can provide resources for some additional services that may be helpful in one’s recovery.
